DisDaBomb creates high quality products for a relaxing and luxurious bath. All DisDaBomb products are handcrafted with only the finest natural ingredients to ensure that bath time evokes the scents and feel of a spa getaway.
DisDaBomb products are made with the following natural ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, orris root powder, scented oils, witch hazel and natural coloured powder. Further explanations regarding each of these ingredients is provided below.
Baking Soda / Sodium Bicarbonate is a naturally forming salt that exists in nature and is used in natural products. Baking Soda is known for its deodorizing and cleansing properties in personal care products.
Citric Acid is naturally found in citrus and various fruits & vegetables. It acts as an unprocessed preservative and a natural antioxidant. Citric Acid is commonly found in an array of skin care products.
Baking Soda + Citric Acid
In addition to the individual benefits of baking soda and citric acid, the combination of the two ingredients causes the “fizzing” sensation experienced with the bath bombs.
Orris Root Powder
Orris is a plant and its root is generally used in combination with other herbs to make tea. In bath bombs, the orris root powder develops a pleasant scent and prolongs the scent of other oils.
Scented oils are used in DisDaBomb’s bath bombs to soften the skin. Additionally, scented oils can aid in stimulating a happy mood.
The leaves and bark on the naturally growing North American Witch Hazel shrub produces Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel has many benefits which include spot and blemish control, treating dry skin and soothing properties. Combined with scented oils, it results in softer and improved skin.
Natural Coloured Powder
DisDaBomb bath bombs are naturally white in colour. The majority of the bath bombs for sale are white to limit the chemicals used in the production process. However, if a client wishes to purchase coloured bath bombs, those bath bombs are created with a natural coloured powder.
